Vintage Large Flat Bottom Holophane Pendant
USA, 1950s, large, oversized, and wonderfully sculptural, this vintage Holophane industrial pendant has a strong presence. The cast aluminum body is finished in a pistachio green, set above a ribbed Holophane prismatic glass reflector that produces an exceptionally beautiful, even light when illuminated. Holophane’s prismatic glass was engineered to distribute light efficiently while minimizing glare, giving these fixtures their characteristic luminous quality. There are a few small nicks to the Holophane ribs on these vintage lights. Nothing distracting to these industrial beauties.
Fully rewired with new twisted cloth cord and ready for installation. Pair available.
